‘Canvas of Feelings’ is a book talking about emotions in the form of poetry. The book is divided into six sections that display the six stages of a person going through breakup trauma, from heartbreak to turning into a poet.
The title is catchy and apt, and the cover is intriguing. Language and writing style is simple, and it mostly has micro-poems and 3-4 liners, which are influenced by the current generation and social-media. I liked the way each stage begins.
The idea of putting forward the thoughts of a person in the form of stages one goes through is brilliant. However, I found nothing unique and new, and the book needs editing.
It was a quick read, and I recommend this book to beginners.
