MY REVIEW

“I received a copy of this book from the Author as a part of a Review Program.”

‘It is only in the moments of silents contemplation that the mind starts growing agitated.’

The book is by a ‘Father-Son’ duo, Kartik Sharma and Ravi ‘Nirmal’ Sharma, which describes the journey of the protagonist, Rasiq, who left his money-making Investment Banking job to live a life worth living. After a month of leaving his job, he got into an accident and counter-intuitively, came up with a startup idea. To bring it into action, he gathered a team of ordinary yet uniquely talented superheroes. Their start-up journey brings sky-rocketing success and fame but also a lot of troubles and not the ordinary ones, the ones that could shake anyone in their shoes. The intriguing story of these superheroes is an exciting read.

Coming on to the various elements of the book- The book is written in the first person, from the protagonist’s point of view and is successful in holding you from the first page. The book is in four parts, describing every element of Rasiq’s story. At the beginning of the book, it is slow paced, but once it catches up, it becomes a page-turner. The cover of the book looks appealing.

The story is tragic, dramatic and captivating, but at some parts, I feel there are some clichés. The narration is proper throughout the book, editing must have been done keenly and precisely. Language is good and easy to understand. The setting is in Mumbai and Delhi, and is well described.

The characters are developed amazingly, they feel realistic, especially his father. He is supportive all the times; all his acts are in the best interest of his son. All the characters are strong-willed, powerful and even the antagonist is perfectly written. Though I feel Ruchika’s character could be more developed. Also, it would be better if the authors throw a little light on the love life of rest of the characters.

In a nutshell, it is a book about Superheroes, fiction yet able to motivate you and encourage you to do the best you can to fulfill your passion, don’t doubt your abilities and never ever give up. I recommend this book to everyone, especially who are thinking about startup or already a business owner, and anyone who is looking for a positive, motivating plus adventurous thrilling story.
