‘Mehfil-e-Chaos’ by Syed Asim Hussaini

‘𝘽𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙡, 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜!
𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚, 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙭!
𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙘, 𝙮𝙚𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙙!’

I completely agree with the author in describing the book with this line. ‘𝙈𝙚𝙝𝙛𝙞𝙡-𝙚-𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙤𝙨’ is a collection of Urdu and English poems written on the topics anybody can relate to; life and death, love and heartbreak, family and faith, motivation, and many more.

The title is perfect, and the cover displays the context well. The book has touched my heart and is a gem on my bookshelf. There are many poems to which I relate a lot, and some poems are deep to the extent that it can make you think, cry, or make you fall in love with poetry again. The two-liners in the book are well-written. In some poems, the philosophical touch to the normal things of life is outstanding.

I won’t say much because I don’t want to put out the whole essence of the book. Thank you @artsonpublishing_house for this soulful gift. I loved it and recommend it to all the poetry lovers.

PS- It’s difficult for me to choose a single poem as my favorite one, but if I had to then, ‘Pehli azan se aakhri namaz tak’ and ‘Shayad abhi main utna bada nahi hua hu’ and many more, these are the starting ones that made me go like ‘OMG!’
