‘The day you stop running your life and let it run you, is the day you begin to decay.’
‘StartUp Secrets from the Ramayana’ by Prachi Garg is one of the best blend of Fiction and Non-Fiction.
The story takes you on the journey of Ram, who has enough knowledge to run a successful business in Ayodhya. But unaware of the closest ones who betrated him, he had to leave the city with his brother, Lakshaman and lovely Sita.
Far from the city, they started building their new business from scratch and on their journey they build up a great team and also, the enemies.
The Ravan from the original scripture came here in different avatar and what happened next was full of adventure and lessons.
The concept is just brilliant. The way the author had used some elements of Ramayana to teach entrepreneurial lessons is amazing.
The title and the cover of the book totally goes with the story. Characters are developed properly and as needed. Pace was varying and narration is from third person’s point of view.
It was easy for me to relate the characters of the book to the personalities of original scriptures.
The book has some mistakes here and there but it wasn’t noticable as the story is gripping and divided into small chapters, each has it’s own lesson at the end of the chapter and in between the story, if you can find it.
The theme of the book revolves around the lessons from the story and the book fulfills it. I learned a lot from this book and this is one of my best read from January 2020.
This book is for someone who like the blend of Fiction and Non-Fiction and for Entrepreneurs especially!
