‘Three Young Women‘ is a story of three best friends, their struggles and how they deal with it. They met on their first day of college and the bond that they share remains the same even after eight years of graduation. They plan a reunion and share their life stories.
The story reflects the highs and lows of a working woman, effects of unfulfilled emotional and physical needs of person and struggles of being a good wife. They all suffer from such problems and at the reunion, they share it and got the courage to deal with it.
The story line is simple but the way the author has put it is outstanding. The story is completely different from what the cover reflects.
The title suits well and the cover is pretty. Language is simple and lucid. It has some proofreading and editing mistakes. However the inspiration you get from the stories is totally unexpected.
Even though the book is short, each character got ample space to develop and each scene is explained well. Setting is simple and pace is uneven. The narration is from the character’s point of view; different character at different time.
The theme of the book states, ‘Everybody has their struggles and sometimes, it’s even hard to live with these, but in the end it’s all about how you deal with it’. Also, the little musings of thoughts shared in the form of poetry are beautiful.
To sum it up, the book is a rollercoaster ride of emotion which ends up motivating you. Thank you @kitabikeedaofficial and @authorsweety for this book, I enjoyed it and recommend it to those who like fiction and to the people who want some motivation in their life.
